New Car Service in Toronto

When a Mazda arrived at Round Men Automotive in Toronto, NSW, the vehicle required more than a straightforward air conditioning component replacement. Investigation identified a failure within the AC system that required access to the evaporator and a comprehensive system rebuild. Vehicle & Issue The Mazda's air conditioning system had developed a fault requiring the evaporative unit to be replaced. While an AC component can sometimes be replaced individually, compressor failures can create a much bigger problem.

When an AC compressor fails internally, debris can circulate through the system. This contamination can block or damage other components, meaning simply fitting another compressor may result in the replacement component failing again. Diagnosis & Inspection The team at Round Men Automotive, your local Toronto mechanic, carried out a thorough inspection of the air conditioning system to determine the extent of the failure and identify potential contamination.

The photographs below show just how involved this repair became. The first image shows the Mazda's dashboard before removal and, alongside it, the dashboard removed to provide access to the air conditioning components. Mazda dashboard before removal and dashboard removed for AC system access Further dismantling was required to reach the evaporator and associated components. The second image shows the dashboard fully dismantled, with views from both sides of the vehicle. Fully dismantled Mazda dashboard showing access to the AC system This is an important reminder that an apparently simple car air conditioning repair can involve significant labour when an internal component fails or contamination has spread through the system. Complete AC System Rebuild Rather than risk installing replacement components into a contaminated system, Round Men Automotive carried out the necessary system rebuild, including thorough system flushing and professional replacement of affected components.

Removing the debris is essential to protect the replacement components and restore reliable operation. The completed AC system is also fully warranted, providing the customer with additional peace of mind.

The repair highlights why having an experienced technician inspect an AC system properly can be important. Continuing to operate with an unresolved fault can potentially lead to further component failures and a much more extensive repair.

As an independently owned Repco Authorised Service centre, Round Men Automotive has access to quality parts, expert technicians and a nationwide warranty, supporting customers with professional vehicle repairs and servicing in Toronto. Mazda Air Conditioning Evaporator Replacement: A Major AC Repair

For all your Automotive Air Conditioner Regas, Inspection, Repair or Servicing needs in Toronto and the surrounding areas, Round Men Automotive (AU52882) are the right choice to bring your car air con back to peak performance. You should never allow an unqualified or inexperienced person to service your car's air conditioner. Round Men Automotive are fully trained and authorised to undertake all aspects of car air conditioner service. Modern vehicles are highly intricate, with numerous components such as the car air conditioner that require regular maintenance or replacement to guarantee consistent reliability and performance, much like the engine. If your air conditioning system begins to lose refrigerant due to evaporation or leaks, it will start to break down and be required to exert more effort. Consequently, this will lead to a higher consumption of fuel. Hence, it is crucial to regularly inspect the status of the rubber seals for any leakage indications or problems that could suggest a refrigerant loss. We will fully remove all of the old gas, conduct a leak test and replenish the gas as per the proper protocol. Having your car's air conditioning serviced every 12 months means you can assist prevention of costly breakdowns now and in the future, keep passengers safe by helping to prevent the build-up of potentially harmful substances and a well serviced automotive air conditioner system actually saves you money because it lowers your fuel consumption. Round Men Automotive care about the environment and have Arctick Authorisation (AU52882) to reliably and responsibly conduct car air conditioner regas, inspection, repair or servicing. Save Fuel and Keep Cool!

Engines that operate through internal combustion rely on large amounts of clean air to ensure the fuel burns properly and generates the power needed to drive the vehicle. At Round Men Automotive in Toronto, we understand how vital it is to keep your car's air filter in good condition as part of protecting your engine's health. Your engine requires extremely clean air to function efficiently. Dirt, dust, and other particles entering the engine can cause serious damage. That’s where the air filter comes into play. It ensures the air entering the combustion chambers is clean, shielding key engine components such as the pistons and cylinders from wear and damage. Why Replace Your Air Filter? Save on Fuel Costs: Your engine requires the correct balance of fuel and air to run efficiently. A clogged air filter restricts airflow, causing your engine to run inefficiently – often referred to as ‘running rich.’ This not only puts additional stress on your engine but can also increase fuel consumption by up to 10%. No one likes spending more on petrol than necessary! Protect Your Engine: Over time, air filters become clogged and weaker, increasing the risk of damage. A damaged or overly dirty air filter can allow harmful particles to enter the engine, potentially leading to expensive repairs. Benefits of Replacing Your Air Filter: Extends the life of your engine Improves fuel efficiency Reduces vehicle emissions At Round Men Automotive, we always check the condition of your air filter during every full car service. Whether it’s a major or minor service, or one that follows your manufacturer’s handbook or logbook guidelines, you can trust us to keep your engine running smoothly.

Keep your engine healthy with clean air filters. Improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions, and extend engine life. Visit Round Men Automotive for expert maintenance and reliable car servicing.
